Debt management 'is vital to happiness'

Britons who are struggling with their finances may be interested in looking into debt management solutions, following comments from the Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS).

According to the body, people need to spend more time learning how to manage their money and it is encouraging Brits to fill the gaps in their knowledge during the National Skills Academy Financial Services' Money Week.

It stated that being bad with cash can result in owing a serious amount of money.

Spokeswoman for the debt advice charity - which offers a free service called the CCCS Debt Remedy - Frances Walker commented: "Managing your money efficiently is important for both short and long term happiness. During a recession, nobody can afford to ignore good money management which could even stave off a developing debt problem."

People who are worried about debt may also be interested in seeking debt help or taking out unsecured loans.
